Kitchen Near You brings the warmth and vibrancy of African cuisine to the heart of the city. Patrons can savor traditional meals while immersing themselves in a lively ambiance featuring live music, DJs, and plenty of space to dance and socialize. Our design involvement focused on expanding the interior seating and dance floor to accommodate growing crowds, as well as completely renovating the exterior façade. By blending sleek, modern lines with subtle nods to African colors, designs, and textures, the new façade gives Kitchen Near You a contemporary edge that still honors its cultural roots.
We worked in close partnership with the restaurant owners, the contractor, and various local authorities to ensure that the design met all functional needs, safety codes, and aesthetic goals. Frequent meetings and collaborative reviews helped us unite the old and new elements seamlessly, resulting in an inviting and dynamic space that celebrates African heritage in a modern setting.
