Neighbors Coffee is a vibrant, family-owned café situated in the bustling heart of Rockville, Maryland. Our design approach centered around creating a warm, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a neighborhood gathering spot. Inspired by the natural hues of coffee plants, the café is adorned with earthy greens, golden yellows, rich browns, and soothing neutrals. Warm textures enhance the cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot to savor a coffee, unwind, or work comfortably.
The project uniquely transformed a former bank into a welcoming community space. A sliding glass window from the bank's old drive-thru now functions as a convenient walk-up ordering and pick-up station, adding charm and efficiency to the experience. Additionally, the preserved bank vault has been thoughtfully repurposed into an innovative office and podcast studio available for public rental, offering a distinctive amenity to patrons and local creators alike.
